Samachar Nirdesh Sonipat – One day drug de-addiction with students and teachers in the premises of Hindu Senior Secondary School under the guidelines and guidance of Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau i.e. NCB Haryana Chief, Additional Director General of Police, Ambala Division and Founder and Provincial President of Prayas Haryana, Shri Shrikant Jadhav Saheb. Awareness program was organized. Under the guidelines of ADGP Shrikant Jadhav Sahib, Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau’s Awareness Program and Rehabilitation Sub-Inspector Dr. Ashok Kumar Verma was present as the keynote speaker. The program was completed under the chairmanship of school principal Shammi Saxena, while vice principal Joginder Sandhu assisted in the conduct of the program. Sub-Inspector Dr. Ashok Kumar Verma, in-charge of awareness program and rehabilitation of the Bureau, while addressing the students said that in order to make Haryana state completely drug free, NCB has been formed in the state of Haryana in the year 2020. The state has to be drug free. ADGP Shrikant Jadhav has also prepared a State Action Plan to make Haryana state drug-free, which is applicable to the entire Haryana.
He said that NCB Haryana’s helpline number 9050891508 has been run for the entire Haryana, on which any person can give secret information about those selling drugs including charas, heroin, chitta, smack, ganja, chura poppy, drug pills, intoxicant vaccines etc. can. The name of such a person is kept completely secret. Apart from this, people who have given up drugs can also contact this number because the person who is intoxicated is being treated as a victim or a patient. He said that so far many people have been made drug-free by the guidelines of Mr. Jadhav Saheb. At the end of the program, all the students and teachers together pledged not to take drugs in life. On this occasion, Retired Police Sub-Inspector and Prayas member Karm Chand, Sub-Inspector Rajendra Kumar assisted in conducting the programme.
