I cannot use zoom since edge browser was updated in febr ! I can access via browser zoom with invite link, but video and mic not accessible. I see only profile pictures of the attendees of the zoom meeting.

This happen right the same day when edge was updated. Before that day I could use zoom for full as it would be appropriate and normal. Please , How to fix such nonsense ;\’\’as it is now Is just a waste of time of a browser? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn\’t help.

I run the troubleshooter, with no avail. However, I do not download zoom onto my computer. I use zoom via my browser which is edge , which was updated around Febr 19th and the same day. Zoom didn\’t work any longer. When I was in the room, no access to video nor microphone, though I allowed both when asked for. I have no app nor downloaded zoom\’s software on my computer. When I use it then over edge web browser. I have an older Pc with another browser on and then zoom works for me using it over browser, no download.

So that shows me clearly , that it is the edge browser and as it happens the same day edge was updated. All your other options you mentioned I cannot not reenact, for I have no zoom app on my pc. However you suggest also to reset the browser, which I not really want to for I am not so much gifted technical wise, and want to avoid a reset , for not to have to adjust certain the settings all again manual, which happens with a reset, doesn\’t it?

May be it is not much I would have to adjust myself after the reset. I am not sure how that works. So I think I\’ll will first see if another browser works to use zoom. If it does not work I might have to bite in the sour apple and reset the edge browser if there is no other way. Thanks for your reply. First, can you please try to access the Zoom using a different browser like Chrome for us to check if the issue is with the Edge browser or the Zoom itself.

For the Edge browser proceed with the steps below. Reset the Edge -Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen. This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared. Restart and check the Zoom in Edge. If issue persists, you can re-install the Edge browser using the link below.

Go to this link and download and install the version Once downloaded and installed restart and check the Zoom. I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.
